[That's 27th Dec for me.]

The few days leading up to the 27th was an interesting one.

Comic Fiesta made me a PA once again (but I had fun!!), realised how going slow at Italianies was a good idea, learned something new during Christmas, was far from being shy with strangers at a party (funny...), tested my tolerance on certain substances (haha it's just alcohol), met new friends who really cracked me up, had a whole day spent on waiting for certain people to show up and setting up my exhibition space and wondered how much God has changed me throughout the year.

The next day (27th) I had to get off my bed early for a last-minute shoot with Theresa and Li Huey at Lake Gardens. They just wanted a cosplay photo shoot to be done before Li Huey leaves for Australia.

I've never done a cosplay shoot before, and I've always wanted to do one, since I noticed there would be a slight difference from a normal model photoshoot. Cosplayers don't model themselves, but rather the characters they're portraying and cosplayers don't necessarily have to fit the ideology of a "model" where weight and looks are taken seriously. So that was definitely a first for me.

Audrey aka Mika was the original photog for the shoot, she brought her 10 year-old brother along and it seems he may have some hidden talents with photography......Heh

I was late for the Tiang Art Event at the MIA Arthouse because of the last-minute photoshoot and I felt so bad that Tuckie went there alone and I didn't get a chance to see him! He had to leave wayyy before I arrived. I still feel bad over what happened.

Apurva who joined the art exhibition as well brought her family along to see the works on display. I'm glad she liked what she saw, since I've been worried that she was hoping for something grander or something. Phew.

Pei Ru was also another person who joined the exhibition and she brought her friend, Sasha, alone to the event. It's been a while since I've seen any ex-Cenfadians and I was glad I managed to get a few of us to be involved in the event like Pei Ru and Danial. Maria who was in the same foundation course with me was the organizer of the event actually.

Danial's friend's (Afiq) dad, a batik artist was roped in to participate in the exhibition, so that's how I met many interesting people namely Afiq, Zuruel and Aswad. Even Afiq's dad was a funny one.

The whole day was spent at the house, we listened to music by local acts, camwhored (oh that was a good one, Pei Ru!) and probably talking a whole lot of crap. By the time we were done with dinner, we were so tired and sleepy because we were waiting for the acoustic set. The only downside to it was it started later than expected and I had to leave by the time it started.

I had to leave by then because I didn't want to ffk Li Huey's Christmas party since I did promise her I'd go. As always I knew I'd have fun there, since I've been with these people for years now. I'm glad I always make it a point to spend time with these bunch of people as long as I have the opportunity to do so.

Something did happen during the party, but I won't touch on that. Wai Mun brought sake his sibling brought back from Japan, Rachel brought red wine. Oh that was fun...

So that's 27th Dec 2008 for me.

P/S : I'll remember Lake 'O' Ais tambah tahi itik.
PP/S : I'll also remember Tepung GUNDAM.
